Number Identification and Matching Service (NIMS) is a service offered by TrioSoft. The goal of NIMS is to increase contact efficiency and to provide an enhanced level of protection to avoid TCPA violations which applies to both the the telemarketing and the debt collection industry (see ACA International's Notice to the debt collection industry).

How NIMS works: NIMS uses a proprietary method to determine the "Caller ID Name" name for any phone number in the United States, Canada and Mexico. After obtaining the caller ID name, we match it against the consumer name you have in your database. We return whether it's an exact match, surname match, partial match or no match. As an added component to NIMS we offer the number type (wireless, land line or VoIP) and service provider (i.e. Verizon Wireless).
